“Agrivoltaics 101” Webinar

Join SACE on Thursday, March 12, at 1 PM ET for our “Agrivoltaics 101” webinar, an introduction to agrivoltaics, the practice of combining agriculture and solar energy production on the same land. We will discuss how solar and agriculture can work together in ways that support farmers, protect working lands, and create new income opportunities while moving us closer to a clean energy future.

We will be joined by Greg Plotkin, Senior Manager for Smart Solar Outreach and Engagement for the American Farmland Trust (AFT), and Mike Storch, Manager of Programs and Sustainability for Cypress Creek Renewables, who will both provide practical information and real-world examples of what agrivoltaics can look like in practice. Dr. Stephen A. Smith, SACE’s Executive Director, will discuss how solutions like agrivoltaics are critical to SACE’s focus and for the energy transition.
