The dedicated team at Southern Alliance for Clean Energy is committed to promoting responsible and equitable energy choices to ensure clean, safe, and healthy communities throughout the Southeast.

We welcome highly qualified individuals with professional experience or education who demonstrate a solid understanding of energy policy issues to submit a resume and letter of interest for future opportunities at SACE.

We anticipate future openings for staff with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
• Solar development
• Utility system resource planning
• Transmission or distribution planning
• Energy efficiency or electrification programs
• Utility regulatory policy

Ideal candidates will have strong skills in the following:
• Writing and public speaking
• Analytical thinking and computer applications

Experience with state agencies, decision-makers, media, or nonprofit advocacy is strongly preferred.

SACE offers job location flexibility, with an expectation that staff are based in key Southeast states, including Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, or Florida. We have a central office in Knoxville, Tennessee. 

Salary will be commensurate with nonprofit compensation in the Southeast and includes a comprehensive benefits package featuring 401(k) matching, paid vacation, and sick leave. SACE also supports professional development and training to deepen skillsets when appropriate.
