The Southern Alliance for Clean Energy’s “Energy Efficiency in the Southeast” seventh edition report, released January 2026, illuminates the critical role of utilities and utility resource planning in energy efficiency efforts throughout the region, including Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
