TVA disputes report linking coal-fired power plants to deaths in Tri-Cities

In this mention

TVA officials dispute a report by the Tennessee Clean Air Task Force and Clean the Air claiming that coal-plant emissions cause 154 deaths annually in the Tri-Cities area. TVA environmental policy manager John Shipp argues the report selectively uses data supporting its anti-coal agenda while ignoring contradictory evidence and the role of indoor air quality. The report advocates for 75 percent emissions reductions from coal-burning power plants.
