Southeast U.S. solar capacity to double by 2026 — report
In this mention
The Southern Alliance for Clean Energy released a report projecting that solar energy capacity in the Southeast will double by 2026, rising from approximately 18,000 MW to nearly 40,000 MW. Florida is expected to lead the region with 17,000 MW of solar capacity by 2026. The growth depends on utilities' integrated resource plans and transmission infrastructure development.
