Smoky Mountains park on endangered list

In this mention

The National Parks Conservation Association listed Great Smoky Mountains National Park among the nation's 10 most endangered parks, citing air pollution from TVA coal-fired power plants as a threat to over 30 plant species. Steven Smith, executive director of the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy, criticized TVA's emissions reduction efforts, arguing the agency is not doing enough to reduce sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide emissions and should take stronger action to protect the park.

I think TVA is moving aggressively on nitrogen oxide reductions. We don't think they're doing enough on sulfur, which are the fine particles that cause the regional haze.
