The Georgia Public Service Commission approved Georgia Power's long-term energy plan but left open the possibility of requiring energy-efficiency programs. SACE spokesman Jim Presswood expressed mixed reaction, noting the commission missed an immediate opportunity to mandate conservation programs but left negotiations open for a February proposal.
They have not made a commitment. But they did leave the door open. They didn't blow us out of the water.
