In this mention

The Southern Alliance for Clean Energy's executive director Steve Smith is scheduled to speak at a rally in Charlotte opposing Duke Energy's new 800-megawatt coal-fired unit at its Cliffside power plant. Opponents contend the unit will contribute to global warming and pollution, while Duke argues its pollution controls exceed EPA requirements.
