Since retaking office, President Donald Trump has led an authoritarian assault on the federal administrative state. At the top of that list, seemingly, is the president's effort to root out diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives — DEI. The Tennessee General Assembly has followed suit, passing its own set of anti-DEI laws. And now, this anti-DEI crusade has made its way to the Tennessee Valley Authority.
