North Carolina is no longer the Southeast’s most solar state
In this mention
According to the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy's fourth annual Solar in the Southeast report, North Carolina has lost its position as the region's leading solar state. Florida has surpassed North Carolina in total installed capacity, and South Carolina has eclipsed it in solar watts per customer ratio. The report also identifies utilities expected to make major solar progress over the next four years, dubbed 'Sunrisers,' including Knoxville Utilities Board and Tampa Electric.
