NC clears Duke Energy to join proposed Southeast market with Southern Co., Dominion, TVA and others

Regulators say they have no role in approving Duke Energy's plan to join the Southeast Energy Exchange Market. But the company must keep them apprised of any "substantive amendments" to the agreement down the road that could trigger state jurisdiction.
