More charging stations for electric cars are coming to Florida’s highways

Florida is set to receive over $198 million in federal funding over five years from President Biden's Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to expand electric vehicle charging infrastructure along highways. Stan Cross, electric transportation policy director at the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy, praised the funding as a game changer that represents a sevenfold increase over Florida's previous public investment in charging stations.
