In this mention
Charlotte and Mecklenburg County are working to expand their electric vehicle fleets to meet climate goals, but supply chain delays and recalls—particularly of the Chevy Bolt—have hampered their purchasing efforts. Stan Cross of the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy notes that while EV sales are rising 60% year-over-year, supply constraints are limiting vehicle availability despite strong consumer demand and government purchasing initiatives.
