Group plans talk on local green opportunities
The Southern Alliance for Clean Energy will host "Green Jobs — Conversations About a New Economy," from 6:15 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the Largo Cultural Center, 105 Central Park Drive.

The program will include discussions on market trends and local projects that provide "green" opportunities.

Participants include Wayne Wallace, president of Solar Source in Largo; Robert Armstead, U.S. Southern Region projects manager with the Climate Group of Tampa; Bryan Roberts, founder of Eco-Tech Construction of St. Petersburg; Jonathan Evans, assistant to the city manager for Largo; and Nick Algee, Florida organizer with the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy.
