Dr. Stephen Smith of the Tennessee Valley Energy Reform Coalition credits the current TVA board for halting costly nuclear construction that contributed to TVA's $26 billion debt.

We give credit to the current TVA board (that succeeded Mr. Runyon) for bringing a halt to any more of the costly construction of nuclear plants which got TVA in so much trouble
