The Florida Supreme Court on Monday dismissed an environmental group's legal challenge against energy conservation plans approved for the state's two largest utilities.
The Southern Alliance for Clean Energy claimed the Public Service Commission's reversal in 2011 of an earlier decision and subsequent approval of conservation plans for Florida Power & Light Co. and Progress Energy Florida violated state law.
