In 1938 Knoxville's citizens voted on an amendment to the Knoxville City Charter to form a public utility to bring affordable power and water to their community. Now, 82 years later, it's time to amend the City Charter and hold the Knoxville Utilities Board accountable to its commitment to serve the community with affordable services and transparent management.
