Five US schools awarded solar grants

In this mention

Five South Carolina schools have been awarded solar grants totaling $250,000 through Palmetto Clean Energy's Solar Matching Grant Pilot program, which covers 50 percent of rooftop solar installation costs up to $50,000 per school. The program was funded by Duke Energy as part of a settlement agreement involving the Environmental Defense Fund, Southern Alliance for Clean Energy, and the South Carolina Coastal Conservation League. Installation work is expected to begin in early 2014.
