EPA plan has sides slinging some dirt

In this mention

The EPA's proposed relaxation of New Source Review pollution control requirements under the Clean Air Act drew sharp criticism from environmentalists, including Stephen Smith of the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy, who warned it would increase air pollution and harm public health. TVA defended the plan as providing operational flexibility while maintaining its own emissions-reduction efforts, spending $1 million daily on pollution controls at coal-fired plants.

This means more air pollution, period. If you are concerned about the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, if you have a child with asthma, if you have a grandparent with chronic respiratory disease, this is not a good day.
