Duke eyes gas and renewables in N.C. carbon plan

Duke Energy filed its Carolinas Carbon Plan with the North Carolina Utilities Commission, outlining four scenarios for meeting the state's carbon reduction goals, including coal retirements, renewables expansion, and new natural gas and nuclear generation.
