In this mention
The Florida Public Service Commission approved an interim storm restoration surcharge for Duke Energy Florida to recover approximately $171.3 million in costs from 2019 Hurricane Dorian and Tropical Storm Nestor. The surcharge will increase residential customer bills by $5.34 per month for 1,000 kilowatt-hour usage from March 2020 through February 2021. The Southern Alliance for Clean Energy was a signatory to the 2017 agreement that established the procedures for addressing storm cost recovery.
