Electric Futures – Atlanta

Atlanta represents Georgia’s largest urban center as part of the Electric Futures pilot project.

Atlanta has the greatest concentration of electric vehicles and charging infrastructure among Electric Futures’ three Georgia project communities, and has also experienced more than $5 billion in EV and battery manufacturing investments, contributing to a rapidly changing transportation and economic landscape.

Electric Futures seeks to ensure that residents are aware of these changes and have meaningful opportunities to share their priorities, concerns, and ideas about how their communities can benefit. With a more established electric transportation ecosystem, Atlanta also provides an opportunity for residents to envision innovative ways to make EVs and other forms of electric mobility more accessible and commonplace.
