“Energy Efficiency in the Southeast” Third Annual Report Webinar
Efficiency is a proven least-cost clean energy resource, but Southeastern utilities and regulators continue to underinvest compared to the rest of the nation. This year’s annual report explores the relationship between efficiency and the region’s consistently high energy bills, local efforts to reduce carbon emissions, and ways COVID-19 altered the efficiency landscape in 2020. Southeastern utilities and states are ranked on their relative efficiency performance, along with key context and recent policy trends. At the end of the presentation on the report’s major findings, time was provided for audience questions.
