Sun Day is a day of action on September 21, 2025, celebrating the power of clean energy. The clean energy revolution is here. Solar, wind and batteries are the cheapest form of power on the planet, lowering costs, creating new jobs, and strengthening our communities. But some politicians and industries are trying to hold it back.

On September 21, we’re joining thousands across the Southeast to celebrate power from the sun and the progress we’ve made in advancing clean energy – and push for more. The brainchild of climate journalist and activist Bill McKibben, the week leading up to the day of action is full of events like heat pump tours, e-bike parades, and rallies for change.
