James Hauser

Transmission Policy Manager

James works to promote holistic transmission planning to achieve decarbonization and improve grid efficiencies. Prior to joining SACE, James was a Senior Associate at the Clean Energy Buyers Association (CEBA), where he managed CEBA’s testimony during Duke Energy’s 2024 integrated resource plan at the North Carolina Utilities Commission. He also has experience in federal energy policy and natural gas markets.

James holds degrees from UNC Greensboro, Georgetown University, and the Georgia Institute of Technology. An avid speaker of Spanish and Portuguese, James enjoys following women’s soccer throughout the Americas.
