Guest Blog | March 31, 2011

For the March webinar, SACE bioenergy program staffer John Bonitz was joined by two expert practitioners — Dan Burciaga with TRI, Inc., an accomplished biorefinery developer, and Dr. Richard Perritt with the N.C. Farm Center for Innovation and Sustainability. Mr. Burciaga describes his company’s Durham, N.C. facility that demonstrates gasification for biofuel and other valuable products. Dr. Perritt discusses his experience in rebuilding soils using biochar, a byproduct of bioenergy.
