SACE Senate Ltr DOE FOIA Concerns
On August 10, 2010 Southern Alliance for Clean Energy sent the following letter to U.S. Senators in the Southeast (TN, GA, SC, NC, and FL) highlighting our concerns over the Department of Energy’s mismanagement of the Title XVII loan guarantee program, specifically their inadequate reponse to our Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request regarding the $8.3 billion in loan guarantees awarded to the proposed two new reactors at Southern Company’s Plant Vogtle in Georgia.
