SACE Position on Gang of 20 New ERA Proposal
SACE responds to the Senate’s bipartisan “Gang of 20.” In August 2008, the Gang of 20 proposed comprehensive energy legisltation. While this proposal did provide some support for clean and renewable energy, it overwhelmingly supported high-risk energy sources, including nuclear energy, offshore drilling and liquid coal.
