People’s Coal Ash Hearing
Please attend a People’s Coal Ash Hearing at the Roane State Community College on Thursday, September 2, at 5:30 PM. This hearing will be an opportunity for residents of Roane County–home of the Kingston coal ash disaster–and others from around the region to voice their opinions on the Environmental Protection Agency’s proposed rules to regulate coal ash at the federal level. An EPA representative will provide a brief overview of the proposed rule and all comments made during the hearing will be submitted to the EPA’s official record.
