For the April webinar in SACE’s monthly webinar series, Ellen Vancko from the Union of Concerned Scientists and Doug Koplow with EarthTrack, Inc., author of “Nuclear Power: Still Not ViableWithout Subsidies” joined with SACE staffer Sara Barczak to discuss the impacts of nuclear power and federal subsidies. Ms. Vancko provides an overview and update on the Japanese nuclear disaster and shared insight on how that may affect new nuclear power development here in the U.S. Mr. Koplow followed with a summary session of the recently released nuclear subsidies report.
