The Southern Alliance for Clean Energy (SACE) continued its webinar series with a Energy Justice Webinarpresentation on Energy Justice: How Clean Energy Policies Lead to Viable Communities. Hosted by Seandra Rawls, Diversity & Community Outreach Coordinator. Forthe May webinar in SACE’s monthly webinar series, we examined how poor energy choices in the past disproportionately impact low income and communities of color. We will also discussed solutions on how clean energy policies can bring economic empowerment to low income and communities of color. This webinar also highlights opportunities for civic engagement, and strategies for building diverse, non-traditional alliances within the clean energy movement.
