On March 2nd, concerned citizens with Greenpeace took to the streets of Washington, D.C. to protestthe use of coal at the Capitol Power Plant. The Capitol Climate Action,as it was called, has galvanized global warming and anti-coalprotesters across the country.

Citizens will have another opportunity to influence the fight against coal, Monday, April 20, when hundreds of North Carolinians and citizens around the nation will demonstrate their moral indignation at the use of 19th Century technology that is unneeded and damaging our health and the habitability of our planet. We invite you to come and bear witness as responsible citizens.
