ADVISORY: Group to hold Knoxville Mayoral Energy Forum

Expected to be largest mayoral forum in election cycle so far

Knoxville, TN  Five mayoral candidates will answer questions about their plans to address affordable KUB electric bills, clean energy, carbon emission goals, and increased transparency from our utility, KUB. Nonprofit advocacy group Southern Alliance for Clean Energy will host the Knoxville Mayoral Energy Forum on Monday, July 29, as a part of the organization’s Renew TN campaign.  

The Energy Forum, expected to be the city’s largest mayoral forum thus far in the election cycle, will build off of other local forums that have addressed hot-topic issues like housing and utility affordability and the urgent crisis of climate change.
