Clean Energy Generation Fall 2024 Webinar

We invite you to join us for SACE’s fourth Clean Energy Generation webinar, “Understanding EVs: Real People Share Real Stories of Electrifying Their Ride,” on Thursday, August 29 at 11:30 ET. During the webinar, a panel of electric vehicle (EV) owners and drivers will share stories and insights from their experiences with EVs. It will be a great opportunity to learn more about what it’s like to own, charge, travel, and save money with an EV, plus hear advice from real people who have gone electric! Panelists for this webinar will include:
- EVNoire Associate Director Tarique André Miller, on EV charging levels and networks, best practices on charging, maintenance cost savings, plus EV incentives and opportunities for all
- SACE Electric Transportation Equity Manager Madelyn Collins and ETCF Community Engagement Liaison Wesleigh Wright, on what they learned about EV range and community charging during their first EV road trip
- SACE volunteer Sara Vinson, on purchasing an EV, using federal tax credits to save money, and benefiting from the low maintenance of EVs (including her vow to never get an oil change again!)
This webinar will be moderated by SACE’s Senior Electric Transportation Program Manager, Dory Larsen. SACE’s Executive Director Dr. Stephen A. Smith and Climate Advocacy Director Chris Carnevale will share how each of us has a role we can play in the Clean Energy Generation movement.
Be sure to bring any questions you have, from “what’s a frunk?” to “how do I know when and where to charge?” No question is too big or too small, and we’ll have plenty of time for Q&As. You can also check out some answers to common EV questions using our EV Facts 101 one-pager, and feel free to send your questions ahead of time simply by replying to this email.
