Rally for the Valley!
- This event has passed.
May 8 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Update: The rally has been postponed in the interest of public safety due to extreme weather in Nashville. We will share a new date as soon as possible – you can RSVP here to receive updates.
We all want clean water to drink. Fresh air for our communities to breathe. Good jobs for our families. But the future TVA wants will leave us with more pollution, energy injustice, higher utility bills, and extreme weather like Winter Storm Elliot and last summer’s deadly heat wave. Instead of leading the way to a clean, safe, and equitable future, TVA is planning the largest fossil gas plant buildout of any utility this decade.
The good news: the TVA Board has the power to change this and we’re demanding action now. Join us May 8 at the Rally for the Valley in Nashville, hosted by the Clean Up TVA coalition. The TVA board will be meeting in Nashville on May 8-9, and directly after their public listening session on May 8, we’re mobilizing to demand our country’s largest federal utility stop polluting our communities and align with federal climate goals for a fossil-free future.
