Join SACE’s Florida Director, Susan Glickman at the Miami Underwater Climate Rally!
The first Democratic Presidential Debate is our opportunity to let the candidates – and the world – know that Floridians want lawmakers to #ActOnClimate.
Climate change is a fundamental threat to Florida’s people, our economy, tourism, agriculture, and real estate, and our very way of life. Climate has must be a central platform for any serious Presidential candidate. We are running out of time. Crucial decisions on the watch of the next President will make or break the ability of humans to survive on this planet, and whether or not Florida remains the place we know and love.
Come to our “Underwater Climate Rally” and add your voice calling for action on climate.
•Wear Blue – to signify the “underwater” theme
•Bring blue tarps, snorkel gear, paper towels, masks, rainboots or umbrellas – whatever you have handy to let everyone know you do not want to be “underwater” and signify you’re ready for the candidates to #ActOnClimate
Gather: 6:00 p.m.
Press Conference: 7:00 p.m.
March to Debate: 7:30 p.m.
