Take the future into your own hands! Join us for a discussion and hands-on activities designed to inform and empower locals around climate action. Following the panel, we’ll be enjoying a screening of the Vizcaya segment from the documentary “Sinking Cities” courtesy of South Florida PBS with snacks provided by Hungry Harvest and beer courtesy of Saltwater Brewery. Vizcaya’s gardens will be open for visitors to enjoy.

The Panel Discussion

The night begins with a keynote by Dr. Andrea Dutton from the University of Florida, followed by a panel discussion on the state of our climate, the urgency for climate action, and solutions. Moderated by Dawn Shirreffs of The Miami Foundation, the panel will feature Caroline Lewis (The CLEO Institute), Susan Glickman (Southern Alliance for Clean Energy) and Dr. Andrea Dutton (University of Florida). All guests are welcome to submit questions for the panel during registration as well as talk with experts one-on-one after the panel.

The Miami chapter of the United Nations Association, The CLEO Institute and Vizcaya have come together for this very special evening.
