Right now, the city of Memphis is weighing a critical decision that could impact Memphians and Shelby County residents for generations to come. MLGW is considering whether or not to buy power from a new power supply, which could save hundreds of millions of dollars every year, compared to staying with its current energy supply, TVA.
This has been a hot news topic, and rightly so as it affects our future in a big way. MLGW is currently accepting public comments to hear what their customers think about whether not MLGW should stay with or leave TVA.
Join the virtual town hall to learn about the issue, hear from Memphis community leaders, and ask any questions you have.
