Today, the sun will be completely blocked by the moon in the first total solar eclipse in the United States since 1979. As people assemble in the “path of totality” to witness this rare event, we want to remind you that while it is indeed amazing to see the moon block the sun, we must fight to keep monopoly utilities in the Southeast from doing the same!

Sign up here to join our fight for solar freedom and bring more clean energy to the Southeast!

SACE has been a longtime defender of solar in the Southeast by working to expose attempts by monopoly utilities to block the sun. Just last year in Florida, SACE successfully led a bipartisan, grassroots coalition that removed burdensome property taxes on solar systems and took down a $26 million disinformation campaign by Florida’s monopoly power companies.

These victories are already opening up the solar market in the Sunshine State. Now, SACE is ready to emulate this success and push for more solar freedom across our region.

Please join us as we build this grassroots effort!
