Ode to a LEAF

Stephen Smith | October 6, 2011 | Clean Transportation

The Southern Alliance for Clean Energy is very happy to have received our long-awaited 2011 Nissan LEAF. SACE is part of the The EV Project in Tennessee. Staff at our Knoxville, Tennessee office will be writing about their experiences using the LEAF, so stay tuned to hear more about how this new technology can fit into the everyday lives of people. SACE feels that electric vehicles (EVs) are the wave of the future and will become a widely adopted technology sooner, rather than later.

To learn more about EVs you can view SACE’s recent webinar about opportunities for electric vehicles and the status of The EV Project. The webinar was hosted by SACE’s Clean Fuels Director Anne Blair and ECOtality’s Tennessee Program Manager Stephanie Cox.

An Ode to a LEAF

No more tar balls, no more dying troops,
No more brothers Koch and corporate crooks,
No more “Drill, Baby, Drill” political flakes or despotic greedy Sheiks,
No more Exxons nor BPs,
No more asthma nor beautiful mountains we cannot see, all because we can all now drive on solar electricity!
