Later this month, the United States House of Representatives may pass the first clean energy and climate bill in its history. But the US doesn’t need just any bill: we need a bill that is strong enough to create millions of clean energy jobs and begin to tackle climate change. So now it’s time for all climate activists to get louder!

On Friday, June 19th, SACE and our allies at 1Sky are calling for a national day of action to make the Waxman-Markey climate bill stronger. It’s a day for you to “get visible” in your community. Please invite your family, friends and neighbors to visit your representative’s district office and make your voice heard loud and clear. Sign up through the 1Sky website today and make your voice heard here in the Southeast.

Once you sign up, you’ll be provided with resources to plan a day of action and materials to leave behind in your Congressional office.  If you sign up to lead a rally or you join in with another effort in your community, please let us know so we can track the efforts of citizens, businesses and organizations to strengthen and pass a clean energy climate bill.
