The Southern Alliance for Clean Energy (SACE) is seeking a unique person to serve as our Florida Electric Vehicle (EV) Advocate on the road – literally!Michelle Powell | March 15, 2019
SACE is seeking a candidate to take a small fleet of electric vehicles across the state of Florida, set up “pop up” events featuring the cars, and allow people in the Sunshine State to experience EVs.
As the driver of the touring EV fleet, you will be building a network of EV users and enthusiasts as well as educating and reaching out to people all across Florida about the many benefits of EVs.
Specific issues anticipated to be priorities include:
- Secure multiple EV cars on a trailer and transport statewide
- Extensive travel – drive the cars to various cities around Florida
- Set up the cars and event support materials
- Help run the “pop up” events
- Educate people about EVs
- Let the community try out the cars
Must have a clean driver’s license. Ideal candidate will have a CDL- Class A, but we can help the right person achieve this license.
Must have some knowledge of EVs or a strong interest in learning more.
Salary offers are commensurate with nonprofit compensation in the Southeast, and include a full benefits package.
