Students for Carbon Dividends
SACE hosted this webinar with Students for Carbon Dividends (S4CD) on June 27, 2018, to learn about the new bipartisan coalition of Republican, Democratic, and environmental student groups advocating for putting a price on carbon. S4CD launched in spring of this year with more than 30 college groups working together for the common purpose of propelling the Baker-Shultz Carbon Dividends plan into the national spotlight. S4CD consists predominantly of College Republican groups that are publicly endorsing a national climate change proposal as outlined in the “Conservative Case for Carbon Dividends.” Join this webinar to learn about S4CD’s perspective on the need for climate action and why they support the carbon dividend plan.
